AKorganizing, LLC was founded in Angela Kantarellis is a Certified Professional Organizer® based in NYC. She started AKorganizing, LLC in 2006 and is proud to have grown the business into one of the leading professional organizing companies in NYC.

Angela is a native New Yorker with a background in residential real estate. She has a deep love of NY living and a keen sense of how to organize a NYC home. This passion has fueled her organizing business and inspired AK’s signature pre-move purge and unpack and set up services.

Angela is a proud member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the NAPO – NY Chapter.  She is honored to have achieved the distinction of Certified Professional Organizer® and to be a member of NAPO’s Golden Circle.  She holds an undergraduate degree from New York University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from the New School for Social Research.

Committed to giving back, Angela has participated in organizing projects at Rising Tide Capital, Literacy Partners and the Crown Heights Mediation Center. She regularly presents workshops on organizing at the First Step Job Training Program at Coalition for the Homeless

Angela lives near Lincoln Center, just half a block from Central Park which she feels blessed to have as her backyard. You can find her most days walking her dog Max, a 12 year old toy poodle, bike riding and taking in nature in this urban oasis.  She enjoys travel and maintains a family tradition of visiting family and friends in Greece at least once a year.
